What if I’m out of shape or nervous to start?
That’s normal. You do not need to be in shape before starting. Jiu-Jitsu will help you build fitness, confidence, and skill over time.
Do I need to spar on my first day?
No. Rolling, or sparring, is always optional. Your first beginner Jiu-Jitsu class is focused on learning the basics in a safe, controlled environment.
How old do I need to be to join?
Ferox Jiu-Jitsu is an adults-only program for ages 18 and up. We do not offer kids classes.
How does the free trial work?
Fill out the form, choose a class time, and come in for your first beginner Jiu-Jitsu class. We recommend showing up about 5 minutes early so we can introduce you to the gym.
